Jason Hernandez: Nike Videographer And Easy Handle Creator

Jason Hernandez: Crafting Stories as The Ambassador for HD Skate Videos

Dropping a stable job to travel in hopes of making connections as a filmer in skateboarding, Jason Hernandez, eventually found his way to Nike. As one of the influential filmers of skateboarding, he chose to be surrounded and blend in with various crews to get the perfect shots. Jason continues to lead the progression of skating through the lens by capturing the raw beauty with High Definition.

“I’m going to be hated for this - but I was bored of the VX.”

Jason Hernandez has been filming for longer than a decade. Starting off at Foundation, moving through to TransWorld and, now, to Nike. He recently created a piece on The Berrics for the REDirect [http://theberrics.com/redirect-jason-hernandez/] project. Piecing together practical dollies, he, designs them for the family business, Easy Dolly. This episode of the Skate To Create skateboarding podcast is about going beyond a full commitment to a project.

“It’s simple. If you really love doing something and want to take a stab at it professionally, do not half ass it.”
