Miles Jackson - Founder & Executive Director of Cuba Skate, a project supporting the emerging skate communities in Cuba.
This is a truly motivating skateboard podcast episode. Miles Jackson talk’s to us about growing up as a kid, either skateboarding or playing soccer. To today and the many ways that Miles Jackson stays hustling, including his involvement with organizing a "Skate for the Cure" fundraiser, in honor of Lewis Marnell and fighting juvenile diabetes. Miles Jackson also runs “Cuba Skate”, a project supporting the emerging skate communities in Cuba. Teaming up with Georgetown University's Law Center, Miles is working for permission to build a skatepark in Havana with California Skateparks, hosting "Art on Deck".
Miles would like to give BIG thanks to a bunch of folks, but especially to his girlfriend Lauren, Fred van Schie, Nick Sacks at Sector 9, Vern at Bones, Karl and Walker at Organika, Damon at Deluxe, Ryan Clements and Betsy.
